After a devastating earthquake in Venezuela, a three-year-old boy miraculously survived six days trapped under the rubble of a building.

According to Oxu.Az, Venezuela's acting president Delcy Rodriguez announced on Telegram that three-year-old Kliver Moran was rescued on the morning of June 30 from the Los Corales Garden residential building in La Guaira state after being trapped for six days.

Rescuers from Jordan, who came to help Venezuela, found the child. He was immediately taken to the hospital. Doctors are treating him for complications from six days without food or water.

The earthquake struck on the evening of June 24. Two tremors of magnitudes 7.2 and 7.5 occurred about 40 seconds apart. Their epicenters were in Yaracuy state, about 10 kilometers apart.

Since then, 214 aftershocks have been recorded. This is one of the strongest earthquakes in Venezuela since 1900.
