Iran's leadership has set five conditions for starting negotiations with the US. Without meeting these, dialogue is impossible.

According to the Fars agency, the demands include a ceasefire on all fronts including Lebanon, lifting sanctions, releasing frozen assets, compensating war damages, and recognizing Iran's sovereignty in the Strait of Hormuz.

Tehran sent a message through Pakistan: The naval blockade undermines trust in talks.

Recall that on February 28, Israel attacked Iran, Trump confirmed US involvement. Iran retaliated with missiles. On March 1, Khamenei was reported dead. On April 8, Trump declared a ceasefire, but the subsequent meeting did not take place.
