The US has completely rejected Iran's 14-point plan for conflict resolution. Tehran received a written response from Washington.

According to Tehran Times, the US rejected all of Iran's proposals, especially regarding its nuclear program.

Iran stated that if Washington had accepted the plan, Tehran was ready to start the second phase of talks, including the nuclear issue.

On May 10, Iran submitted its response via Pakistani representatives. The Wall Street Journal reports that Tehran refused to dismantle nuclear facilities.

Iran signaled readiness to halt uranium enrichment, but not for the 20-year period demanded by the US. President Trump called the response unacceptable.

On February 28, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz announced that Israel had launched a preemptive strike against Iran. Trump confirmed US involvement.

Iran responded by firing dozens of ballistic missiles at Israel. Israel activated its air defense systems.

On March 1, it was reported that Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was killed in the attacks.

Iran struck neighboring countries hosting US military bases, leading to temporary airspace closures.

Serious disruptions occurred in the Strait of Hormuz for ship passage.

On April 8, Trump issued an ultimatum to Tehran, but Washington later agreed to a two-week ceasefire.

A first meeting was held in Islamabad, but the second meeting scheduled for April 22 did not take place.
