Hungary's newly elected Prime Minister Peter Magyar has announced he will not live in the official state residence.
He shared his decision on social media platform X. Magyar also stated that he will keep the Skoda Superb he used during the election campaign as his official service car.
Back in April, Magyar had indicated his intention to give up the official residence in Buda Castle, previously used by former PM Viktor Orbán.
Orbán resigned on May 9 after 14 years in office. The Hungarian Parliament confirmed Magyar, leader of the Tisza Party, as the new prime minister after the April elections.
