A 5.0 magnitude earthquake struck the Philippines, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).
The quake occurred on Wednesday, June 24, at 10:04 local time (06:04 Baku time), with its epicenter located 75 km west of the coastal Balinqasay region.
The hypocentre was at a depth of 10 km. Seismologists classify such tremors as moderate, potentially causing minor damage.
Initial reports indicate no casualties or building collapses, and no tsunami warning has been issued.
