Iran has reopened underground missile tunnels destroyed by US strikes, according to The New York Times.
Citing a source, the newspaper reported that Iran's ballistic missiles are stored in deep tunnels carved into granite rocks. Although the US bombed and blocked these tunnels, Iran has now dug them out and restored access.
Tehran used a month-long ceasefire to relocate mobile missile launchers and update its tactics.
The Pentagon estimates that 13,000 targets were hit during US strikes, causing significant damage. However, Iran has retained its ability to inflict serious harm on the region and global economy.
