Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that the country will continue its membership in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) while implementing reforms aligned with European Union (EU) standards.
According to Oxu.Az, citing Armenian media, Pashinyan made these remarks during a pre-election speech in the city of Abovyan.
He stated that Armenia can currently pursue both paths simultaneously, but if a choice becomes necessary, the decision will be made by the people.
The Prime Minister emphasized that his main task is to create alternative opportunities.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin warned that Armenia's integration with the EU could lead to the suspension of cooperation with the EAEU and the loss of existing benefits.
