A horrific incident occurred in Nigeria's Maraban-Cos district, where a mob of youths burned a woman alive on the street.
According to "Daily Trust" cited by Oxu.Az, the victim was a mother of two and a teacher, brutally killed.
The incident happened as the woman was heading to work. A group of youths accused her of child kidnapping and began beating her. Police intervened and took her to the station.
However, shortly after, an angry mob stormed the police station, forcibly removed the woman, and set her on fire.
Police were forced to use firearms to restore order, injuring one participant.
Authorities described the incident as a serious crime against rule of law. Several suspects have been detained, and investigations are ongoing.
