Thai authorities have decided to impose mandatory medical monitoring for all travelers from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and Uganda.
The move comes due to the Ebola outbreak in those countries. Passengers will be monitored for 21 days.
Under new rules, airlines must ensure that passenger data is uploaded to the TDAC platform and registered in Thailand's medical monitoring system.
Health officials will check TDAC QR codes at the arrival exit or directly on the aircraft stairs. Passengers must undergo temperature checks and provide contact and accommodation details.
