An exhibition titled "Azerbaijan Through the Lens of History" was presented on June 6 at the Arkadag City Museum of History and Local Lore as part of the Azerbaijan Culture Days in Turkmenistan.
According to Oxu.Az, the event was attended by Azerbaijan's Deputy Minister of Culture Murad Huseynov, Turkmenistan's Deputy Minister of Culture Nursakhet Shirmov, MP Hikmat Mammadov, Secretary of the Azerbaijan Writers' Union Ilgar Fahmi, and cultural, literary, and scientific figures.
Murad Huseynov highlighted the high-level presentation of Azerbaijani culture in Turkmenistan. He described the Culture Days held in both Ashgabat and Arkadag as a significant event.
Deputy Minister Nursakhet Shirmov spoke about the development of cultural ties between the two nations and how mutual culture days strengthen relations.
Chairman of the Azerbaijan Photographers' Union Amira Suleyman said that the displayed photos reflect the modern architecture of Azerbaijan, historical and cultural heritage in the liberated territories, and restoration and construction work.
Afterwards, the guests toured the exhibition.
