The 114th session of the International Labour Organization (ILO) is underway in Geneva, Switzerland. Azerbaijan is represented by a delegation.
The delegation includes members from the Ministry of Labour, AHIK, and the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs' Organizations.
During the conference, a meeting was held with Oliver Röpke, Director of the ILO's Bureau for Workers' Activities (ACTRAV). Workers' rights, occupational safety, and gender equality were discussed.
AHIK Chairman Sahib Mammadov emphasized the long-term cooperation with the ILO. Azerbaijan has ratified 60 ILO conventions.
A meeting was also held with Serhiy Byzov, Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine. The parties exchanged experiences on protecting labor rights.
