From May 19-21, the "Silicon Valley May Summit 2026" took place at Plug and Play Tech Center in Sunnyvale, California.
The three-day event brought together over 300 startups, 4,000+ participants, corporate partners, and investors across 17 industry tracks. Key themes included AI, fintech, deep tech, cybersecurity, mobility, and industrial supply chain.
On May 20, during the "Global Startup Showcase" stage, five Azerbaijani startups from the "GOAL" program—a partnership between the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IRIA) and Plug and Play—presented: "Glacies Biome", "Bonfi", "Recepta", "Pixelfork", and "Pionero AI".
"Pionero AI", winner of a recent "Shark Tank" session, earned a special spotlight on the main stage. The summit enhanced the global visibility of Azerbaijani startups and facilitated their integration into the Silicon Valley ecosystem.
