AzerGold CJSC is preparing to introduce 999.9 fineness silver bars made from local raw materials for the first time.
Ariz Tarverdiyev, head of Public Relations, Marketing and CSR department, said production has already begun.
Initially, bars weighing 250, 500 and 1000 grams will be offered. Later, new weights will be produced based on market demand and investor interest.
The global value of silver has risen due to increased use in green energy technologies, solar panels and electronics, boosting demand as an investment tool.
This national product aims to develop the local precious metals market and provide a reliable alternative investment for the public and investors.
