The 11th Hitay Foundation Art Competition has been announced as open to all Turkic world countries. Eligible participants are bachelor's and master's students studying painting, sculpture, or photography in Turkey, Azerbaijan, Northern Cyprus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Hungary, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan.
Applications are accepted via hitayvakfi.com until June 30. Results will be announced on July 14. Ten selected students will attend a special program at the 61st Venice Biennale.
Hitay Foundation founder Emin Hitay said: "For the first time, the competition is organized internationally in cooperation with the Organization of Turkic States. Our goal is to support young artists and provide them with global experience."
