Mingachevir State University (MSU) and the Ministry of Youth and Sports jointly organized the "I MSU Green Campus Sports Festival". The event was dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev.
Over 3,000 participants attended the festival. The goal was to promote a healthy lifestyle among youth, strengthen ecological culture, and foster green thinking.
The festival featured marathon, volleyball, football, swimming, cycling, table tennis, and eco-competitions. Most participants arrived without cars, supporting sustainable mobility.
A "Green Nutrition Zone" was set up, offering organic and locally sourced food. The event ended with a concert program.
