The presentation ceremony of the AZCON School of Engineering and Technology (AZSET), established through the cooperation of AZCON Holding and Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), was held.
Speakers included Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev, Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev, Executive Director of TUM International GmbH Friederike Hettinger, and AzTU Rector Vilayat Valiyev.
Minister Amrullayev emphasized that international experience shows effective collaboration between universities, innovation companies, and business entities.
Minister Nabiyev highlighted that AZSET will provide education based on German standards, with students gaining practical experience in real projects.
Hettinger noted that the program starts with a bachelor's in computer science, with computer engineering to be added later.
Rector Valiyev described the project as an investment in Azerbaijan's digital future.
A tripartite agreement was signed. Admission requires a GPA of 81+ and English B2+. Instruction will be in English.
