Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, received the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Farid Ahmadov, during his visit to Pakistan.
Farid Ahmadov first conveyed the warm greetings of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to the Prime Minister of Pakistan. In turn, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif asked to convey his greetings and deep respect to the Azerbaijani head of state.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that the friendly and brotherly relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan are based on historical, cultural, and religious ties, and are developing at the level of strategic partnership in all directions.
It was noted that within the framework of the Cooperation Memorandum and Cooperation Program signed between the Ministries of Justice of the two countries over the past two years, mutual experience exchange activities have been carried out. It was highlighted that the legal documents signed between the two countries make a significant contribution to the development of relations.
Effective cooperation in the field of legal assistance and extradition was discussed. It was also emphasized that there are opportunities for further development of cooperation in the field of law and justice.
