Starting from tomorrow, June 1, 2026, changes in the submission of electronic trade declarations on the State Customs Committee's "Smart Customs" platform come into force.
Under the new rules, logging in with an identification number (FIN and password) to use the "Electronic Trade Declaration" service will no longer be possible. Citizens can choose one of three types of electronic identification. The fastest and most convenient option is the SIMa digital signature.
With "SIMa Signature," users can obtain an electronic signature via a mobile device in minutes, without the need for a physical token, and securely access customs services. Using facial recognition technology, "SIMa Signature" enables remote, fast, and secure identification.
Considering the new rules, citizens who want to submit electronic trade declarations conveniently and without interruption are advised to obtain the SIMa digital signature in advance.
