Today, the first group of pilgrims from Medina departed for Azerbaijan.
According to Oxu.Az, the plane carrying the first group, who arrived in Medina from Mecca three days ago, has headed to Baku.
The plane is expected to reach the capital around noon.
Additionally, another group is scheduled to leave for the homeland at noon.
The last Hajj groups have bid farewell to Mecca and set out for Medina. In Medina, pilgrims will pray at the Prophet's Mosque and Quba Mosque, the first Islamic mosque, and visit the Prophet's grave, Baqi Cemetery, and the site of the Battle of Uhud.
After a three-day stay in Medina, the last group is planned to depart for Baku on June 9.
It is worth noting that the first group of pilgrims from Mecca returned to Baku on May 31.
This year, the quota for Azerbaijani pilgrims during the Hajj pilgrimage was 1,150 places, and the package price was set at 6,100 US dollars per person.
