Heavy rain in Gabala has caused floodwaters to inundate yards.
According to Oxu.Az citing APA, after torrential rains starting from noon, a flash flood swept through Qarachay in the settlement of Vandam, Gabala.
As a result, silt and debris accumulated in the yard of a mosque located by the river in the village center, a section of a newly built road, as well as gardens and other areas near the river.
The flood also rendered part of the new road completely unusable. Traffic was disrupted due to the heavy rain. Efforts are underway to mitigate the damage caused by the flood.
