Although there is some activity every weekend, the car market has been stagnating for months. Sellers say buyers prefer electric cars.
Baku TV visited a capital car market. Supply is high, but demand is low. Some sellers have been unable to sell their cars for weeks. Interest in large-engine gasoline cars has dropped sharply.
Buyers mostly look for small to medium-engine cars priced between 13,000 and 15,000 manats. However, choices in this range are limited. Traffic jams and high fuel costs are pushing drivers toward more economical electric cars.
Most buyers come from regions. The stagnation continues this week.
