At the Grand Prix judo tournament held in Qingdao, China, the Azerbaijani team performed successfully.
Murad Fatiyev, competing in the 90 kg weight category, won a bronze medal. He defeated Kyrgyzstan's Erjan Kanatbekov in the third-place match.
Thus, the Azerbaijani team ended the tournament with one gold and three bronze medals. Earlier, Zelim Tckayev (81 kg) won gold, while Ahmad Yusifov (60 kg) and Hidayat Heydarov (73 kg) secured bronze medals.
With 57 countries participating, Azerbaijan ranked fourth in the overall team standings and third among men.
