The Dutch prosecutor's office demands the confiscation of 8 million euros from Quincy Promes, former striker of Russia's Spartak Moscow, in a drug trafficking case.
According to De Telegraaf, the prosecution believes Promes earned at least 8 million euros from cocaine sales and must return the amount.
Promes was sentenced to a total of 7.5 years in prison in the Netherlands for two criminal cases. In summer 2023, he got 18 months for stabbing a relative, and in February 2024, he received 6 years for drug smuggling.
