Azerbaijani female wrestler Khadija Gurbanzade has won a silver medal at the U-17 European Wrestling Championship in Samokov, Bulgaria.

Competing in the 49 kg weight class, our representative faced Ukrainian Olena Kolubay in the decisive final. The match ended with a 10-0 victory for the opponent, placing Gurbanzade on the second step of the podium.

Note that the championship will conclude on May 17.
