Brazil national team head coach Carlo Ancelotti has included 34-year-old Santos striker Neymar in the final squad for the 2026 World Cup.
According to Globo, the Italian specialist outlined strict rules for Neymar's return to the team during a video call.
Neymar will no longer be a starting player and will be stripped of the captain's armband. Additionally, the number 10 shirt will be given to Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior.
The conditions also include restrictions on social media activity and strict adherence to new behavioral rules in camp. Neymar has fully accepted all terms.
Neymar is Brazil's all-time top scorer with 79 goals. In the 2026 World Cup group stage, Brazil will face Morocco, Haiti, and Scotland.
