Yesterday, Spanish specialist Mikel Arteta, who manages Arsenal, won the English Premier League for the first time in his career.

According to Oxu.Az citing "Championship" publication, no English head coach has ever celebrated a championship title in the history of the Premier League.

Scottish Alex Ferguson won 13 titles, Spanish Pep Guardiola 6, Portuguese Jose Mourinho and French Arsene Wenger 3 each. Italians, a Chilean, a German, a Scot, and a Dutchman also won gold medals.

The last time a local specialist won the English championship was in the 1991/92 season – before the Premier League was formed. Howard Wilkinson led Leeds to the trophy.
