Mikel Arteta, the 44-year-old manager of Arsenal, has made history in the English Premier League (EPL).
According to Oxu.Az, he is the first former EPL player to win the English championship as a manager.
During his playing career, Arteta played for Everton (209 games) and Arsenal (150 games) in the Premier League.
Yesterday, his Arsenal team sealed the 2025/26 league title early, ending a 22-year drought.
Arsenal finished with 82 points, while second-placed Manchester City have 78 points after 37 games. Pep Guardiola's team has lost all mathematical chances of winning the title.
