Aston Villa has removed its main sponsor's logo from the kit ahead of the UEFA Europa League final against Freiburg.

Brazilian commentator Luis Carlos Largo reported this on his X social media account.

Since the match is held in Turkey, local laws prohibit betting company logos on sportswear. Therefore, the logo of Betano, the club's main sponsor, has been removed.

For the final, players will wear shirts with "Aston Villa Foundation" on the front. The English club will also use its third alternative kit.

The game in Istanbul kicks off at 23:00 local time.
