Turan Tovuz club cannot reach an agreement with the national team player.
According to Oxu.Az citing Idmanxeber.az, the player in question is Aykhan Huseynov. The midfielder, whom head coach Gurban Berdyev insists on keeping, does not want to stay at the Tovuz club.
Huseynov has serious offers both from Azerbaijan and abroad. Having received a high salary offer from European clubs, the midfielder is not considering playing in his home country.
He intends to test himself in a higher-level championship. Therefore, the national team member will reject Turan Tovuz's new contract offer.
Unless there is a last-minute change, Aykhan Huseynov will not stay at Turan Tovuz next season. His contract with the club expires in the summer.
Recall that the 26-year-old midfielder played 38 matches for his team last season, scoring 7 goals and providing 6 assists.
