The Athletics Championship of Small European Countries was held in Monaco.
Organized by the Association of Small European States Athletics, the competition featured nearly 300 athletes from 17 countries.
At the Stade Louis II, the Azerbaijani national team achieved success. Lamiya Valiyeva won silver in the 100m with 11.91 seconds. Ilaha Gulieva claimed bronze in the 400m with 54.64 seconds, setting a new Azerbaijani record. Sakina Hajizade earned bronze in shot put with 12.78m. The women's team also won bronze in the Swedish relay.
