Azerbaijani chess player Muhammad Muradli wins the UzChess Cup in Uzbekistan.

The "chess-cup" class="internal-tag-link">UzChess Cup" traditional international chess tournament in Uzbekistan is nearing its end.

Oxu.Az reports that the winner of the "Challenge" section has been determined.

With maximum points in seven rounds, Azerbaijani champion Muhammad Muradli secured first place. Muradli, with 7 points, will face Uzbek player Jahongir Vahidov in the final round tomorrow.

Regardless of the result, Muradli will remain the tournament winner.
