Azerbaijan national team player Khayal Aliyev was injured during a friendly match against Malta (0:2).

According to Oxu.Az, Aliyev pulled a muscle and left the field on a stretcher, replaced by Nariman Akhundzade in the 10th minute.

The national team will play its next match in the Austria camp on June 9 against San Marino.
