According to Oxu.Az, the Azerbaijan Judo Federation reported this.
It was noted that team member Abil Yusubov (73 kg) won all five bouts leading to the final.
In the final match, the Azerbaijani judoka lost to Italian Lucio Tavoletta and finished the competition with a silver medal.
It should be noted that on the last day of the European Cup, 15 more members of the Azerbaijani team will compete on the tatami.
