The European Judo Cup for juniors concluded in Graz, Austria. The Azerbaijani team won four more medals on the final day.
According to the Azerbaijan Judo Federation, Suleyman Shukurov, competing in the -90 kg category, defeated all opponents to win gold. He beat Brazil's Joao Pedro Kanelyon by a yuko in the final.
Roman Garayev (-81 kg), Aslan Kotsoyev (-90 kg), and Ramazan Ahmadov (+100 kg) claimed bronze medals. On the first day, Mahammad Musayev (-66 kg) also won gold.
Thus, the Azerbaijani team finished the European Cup with 2 gold and 3 bronze medals. The team placed 2nd among 34 countries in the boys' competition and 3rd overall.
