Azerbaijani judokas have won three medals on the first day of the European Open held in Prague, Czech Republic.
The Azerbaijan Judo Federation reported the news.
Elshan Asadov (66 kg) defeated all opponents to win gold. In the same weight category, Rashad Yelkiyev took silver.
Kamran Suleymanov (73 kg) finished with a bronze medal.
With one gold, one silver, and one bronze, Azerbaijan ranked second among 38 countries in the team standings.
