Azerbaijani taekwondo athlete Cavad Aghayev won a bronze medal at the European Championships held in Munich, Germany.

According to the Azerbaijan Taekwondo Federation, our athlete defeated representatives from San Marino, Germany, and the Czech Republic in the third-place match to secure a spot on the podium.

Aghayev competed in the 74 kg weight category and was awarded the bronze medal.

Earlier, other Azerbaijani representatives, Imamaddin Khalilov and Sabir Zeynalov, also won silver medals at the competition.
