Azerbaijani taekwondo athletes have won 3 medals at the "Altay" championship held in Astana, Kazakhstan.
Javad Aghayev (80 kg) won silver, while Elcan Aliyev (80 kg) and Minaya Akbarova (46 kg) earned bronze medals.
The competition took place on June 22-23. The teams will also participate in the "Kazakhstan Open" international tournament (June 25-27).
The delegation is led by Vice-President Niyamaddin Pashayev, head coach Mammad Abdullayev, and coaches Elnur Amanov and Ayxan Taghizade.
