The third stage of the "Baku-Khankendi" Azerbaijan cycling race starts today.
According to Oxu.Az citing Report, the third stage covers a distance of 162.9 kilometers.
The tour starts in Gabala and will finish in Mingachevir.
In the first stage, Belarusian rider Aleksey Shnirko of China's "Li-Ning Star" team finished first. Yesterday, Kazakh cyclist Yevgeniy Fedorov of "Astana" won the next round.
In the UCI 2.1 category race, 24 teams representing 20 countries are competing. The race consists of five stages with a prize fund of over 50,000 euros. The race will conclude on May 14.
The final stage of the tournament will take place in the city of Khankendi.
