A collision between a minibus and a truck in Russia's Chelyabinsk region has left one person dead and five others injured.

According to Oxu.Az, the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations reported the incident.

The minibus was carrying members of Perm's "Bionord Pro" basketball team.

The deceased is the driver of the minibus. The injured, including the basketball players, have been hospitalized and are receiving necessary medical care.

A criminal investigation has been launched.
