Bayern Munich has set a new record for most goals scored in a single season in the 21st century among Europe's top five leagues.

According to Opta, Bayern defeated Cologne 5-1 in the final Bundesliga matchday, bringing their total to 122 goals in 34 games.

The top five leagues include England, Spain, Italy, Germany, and France.

The previous record was held by Real Madrid in 2011/2012 with 121 goals in 38 matches.

Overall, the best performance was by Torino in 1947/1948 with 125 goals in 40 games.
