Former England midfielder and Inter Miami co-owner David Beckham has been honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles.

According to Oxu.Az citing Sport Express, a commemorative plaque was unveiled in Hollywood in Beckham's honor.

The ceremony was attended by famous actor Tom Cruise, Beckham's wife Victoria Beckham, and their children.

Beckham admitted that the event felt like a dream. He said it was hard to imagine that a simple boy from a working-class neighborhood would one day stand alongside movie stars and world-famous figures.

Beckham ended his professional football career in 2013.
