Brazil, one of the favorites for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, began their qualifying campaign with a draw against Morocco.

The Group C match took place in New Jersey and ended 1-1.

Morocco took the lead in the 21st minute through Ismael Saibari. Brazil equalized in the 32nd minute with a goal from Vinicius.

The other match in this group, between Haiti and Scotland, will kick off at 05:00.
