Chelsea have updated their logo ahead of the new season.
According to Oxu.Az citing Sport24.ru, the club has not made an official announcement, but fans and followers of the club's social media accounts noticed the changes.
The updated emblem features fewer gold elements, and the lion has been stripped of shadows.
The changes are not immediately noticeable - they are subtle but significant:
- The blue background is darker and brighter;
- The yellow circle around the white ring and the edges of the club's name have been removed;
- The blue lion's shadows are gone, making it flatter and brighter;
- The font for "Chelsea Football Club" has been updated;
- The white frames around the four red footballs have been removed.
