Former two-time UFC champion Conor McGregor has made an unexpected decision ahead of his return to the octagon. He has refused to renew his contract.
According to insider Ariel Helwani on "Schein Time", McGregor is returning but without a contract extension. "He has only two fights left," Helwani said. "One on July 11, the other likely in 2027."
The 37-year-old Irishman's last fight was at UFC 264 against Dustin Poirier, where he broke his leg in the first round.
Earlier, rumors circulated about a possible fight in Russia.
