An unusual crash occurred at the Canadian Grand Prix. Williams driver Alexander Albon hit a marmot that suddenly appeared on track.
Albon lost control and hit the barrier. The car was damaged but the driver was unharmed. Unfortunately, the marmot did not survive.
The session was red-flagged for about 20 minutes. Antonelli (Mercedes) set the best time; Albon finished 14th.
