Farman Hasanov, our compatriot who will face Eric Nolan at the 'UFC Fight Night' gala held at the National Gymnastics Arena, stated that preparations are going great and he is currently in the USA.
He said he plans to continue preparations in Baku three weeks before the fight: 'I was very happy when I received the offer from UFC. I have been training in the USA since the end of March. The offer was a surprise but I was ready because I was expecting a fight.'
'The weight-cutting process starts from the beginning of training camp. It gets tougher in the final weeks. It's not the first time I've gone through this; I hope everything will be fine. I believe I will win the competition.'
Note that on Saturday, June 27, Farman Hasanov will face Eric Nolan in a welterweight bout at the National Gymnastics Arena. This fight will be Farman Hasanov's debut in the UFC.
