Egypt has qualified for their fourth World Cup, making a stunning comeback. Under Hossam Hassan, they remained unbeaten in qualifying.

Stars like Mohamed Salah, Omar Marmoush, and Trezeguet lead the team. The Pharaohs aim to prove their dominance in Africa and the Arab world.

Hassan took over in February 2024 and achieved a historic feat: first unbeaten qualifying campaign in 91 years.

Egypt debuted at the 1934 World Cup in Italy, losing to Hungary but becoming the first African team to participate.

In 2018, they returned after 28 years; Salah scored their first goal, but they exited in the group stage.

At WC 2026, Egypt is in Group G with Belgium, New Zealand, and Iran. Match schedule in Baku time is provided.

Egypt's top WC scorers: Abdurrahman Fawzi and Mohamed Salah (2 goals each).
