Final stage of Baku-Khankendi cycling race starts

The final stage of the Baku-Khankendi international cycling race starts from Tartar covering 181.5 km. 24 teams from 20 countries compete in this UCI 2.1 event.

The final, fifth stage of the "Baku-Khankendi" Azerbaijan international cycling race has started.

Cyclists will cover 181.5 km from Tartar to Khankendi.

In the first stage, Alexey Shnirko of China's "Li-Ning Star" team won; stages 2 and 3 were won by Yevgeniy Fedorov and Gleb Suritsa of Kazakhstan's "XDS Astana" team, respectively.

Marko Manenti of Italy's "Bardiani" team won the fourth stage.

The UCI 2.1 category race features 24 teams from 20 countries. The total prize fund exceeds 50,000 euros. The race concludes on May 14.
