Real Madrid held its presidential election, and the winner was the current club leader, Florentino Perez.

Club members chose between two candidates: Perez and businessman Enrique Riquelme. This marked the first presidential election with two candidates in 20 years.

Perez won with 66.53% of the votes, retaining the presidency he has held since 2009.
