The Group stage match of the 2026 World Cup between France and Norway may be postponed due to a severe storm.
According to "Le Parisien", the US meteorological service issued a warning ahead of the game at the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough. A dangerous storm wave is expected in the area.
Under security protocols, the match could be suspended or canceled in such weather conditions.
Interestingly, the French team faced a similar situation in its previous match against Iraq. The game was interrupted at halftime due to a storm threat but later resumed. France won 3-0.
The World Cup, hosted by the US, Mexico, and Canada, started on June 11 and will run until July 19.
